PASMA training numbers up 20%

This was 20% up on the 50,000 in 2011. PASMA, the Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ & Manufacturers’ Association, is the trade association for the mobile access tower industry. Since PASMA first introduced its Towers for Users course in 2005, it has trained more than 350,000 operatives across the UK and Ireland through a network of 400 approved training centres.

Courses on offer for 2013 include Towers for Users, Work at Height Essentials, Low Level Access, and AGRs for Towers for Users – a course designed for users wanting additional knowledge and understanding of using advance guardrail mobile towers. New courses for 2013 include Towers for Managers, Towers for Riggers and Towers on Stairs.
