Resourcing Team Manager - Rail Infrastructure
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 + Bonus (DOE)
Location: Watford Head Office (2 minutes from Watford Junction)

This is not a traditional recruitment management role.

We're looking for a proven rail infrastructure resourcing professional with experience supplying frontline labour into safety-critical environments. You'll have a strong understanding of Sentinel competencies, sponsorship arrangements, workforce compliance and mobilisation processes, combined with the leadership skills required to manage and develop a high-performing resourcing team.

You'll also play a key role in the rollout of an innovative AI-powered resourcing and onboarding platform, helping shape the future of workforce delivery across the UK infrastructure sector.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Recruitment Resourcers.
  • Oversee the delivery of urgent labour requirements whilst maintaining future workforce pipelines.
  • Support critical recruitment, onboarding and mobilisation activities.
  • Work closely with operational teams to forecast workforce demand and plan future requirements.
  • Oversee Sentinel sponsorship, workforce compliance and deployment processes.
  • Utilise advanced AI-driven recruitment technology to improve efficiency, fulfilment and candidate experience.
  • Analyse workforce trends and resourcing performance to support business growth.
  • Develop attraction strategies using job boards, referrals, social media and talent pools.
  • Produce workforce planning reports and recommendations.

Essential Requirements

  • Significant experience within rail infrastructure recruitment, labour supply or workforce resourcing.
  • Strong knowledge of Sentinel competencies, Primary and Sub-Sponsorship arrangements, mobilisation and workforce compliance.
  • Experience signing off workforce readiness and supporting the safe deployment of workers to site.
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring or managing a recruitment or resourcing team.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and strong operational decision-making ability.
